First and foremost there will be the ICAR / International Center for Automotive Research with the Millenium Campus. The first facility on the site, BMW's Information Technology Research Center, and Clemson University's Carroll A. Campbell Jr. Graduate Engineering Center are the focus of CU-ICARÕs Technology Neighborhood.

Near ICAR and across Interstate I-85, the Verdae development will be a bustling new community of neighborhoods, shops, and offices that could be home to 10,000 and a workplace for 15,000 people.

New high rise buildings and river front developments in downtown Greenville will change and shape the future skyline. A new stadium, new malls and community developments will add new stores, entertainment and life style possibilities.
