become the world's most beloved musical. When a postulant proves too
high-spirited for the religious life, she is dispatched to serve as
governess for the seven children of a widowed naval Captain. Her
growing rapport with the youngsters, coupled with her generosity of
spirit, gradually captures the heart of the stern Captain, and they
marry. Upon returning from their honeymoon they discover that Austria
has been invaded by the Nazis, who demand the Captain's immediate
service in their navy. The family's narrow escape over the mountains to
Switzerland on the eve of World War II provides one of the most

the husband who lives there, and gets wound up in the adventurous
attempts of all three husbands to cuckold one another. The company
backs into a moral at the end, as the hapless lover wanders off

Wednesday 9/24/2008 3:30 pm + 7:30 pm La misma luna (Under the Same Moon) Mexico, USA, 2008. Director: Patricia Riggen. (106 minutes) In Spanish with English subtitles The story of the enduring bond between mother and son, Rosario, is a mother struggling to support her family in Mexico while living illegally in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, her son, Carlitos is left under the care of his grandmother. But when she dies, nine-year-old Carlitos embarks on a colorful and arduous journey across the border in search of his mother. The script has Carlitos narrowly escaping kidnapping, drug addicts, and Border Patrol workers, aided by the unlikely friendships he forges along the way. While it touches on timely and pressing issues concerning immigration and discrimination, the film, which won a standing ovation at the Sundance Film Festival, works on a simpler level as well by focusing primarily on the sweet relationship between a mother and her son. Tuesday 9/30/2008 8:30 am - 4 pm Conservation Agreements: The Voluntary Protection of Land This conference will be devoted to explaining and discussing conservation agreements, one of the most popular and widely used means of protecting natural, scenic, agricultural and historic lands in the United States. It is basically a voluntary agreement by the landowner to protect his or her property, for which the owner may be able to realize significant income, estate and property tax benefits. The conference will provide information about the most dramatic improvements in the tax code for conservation in over 25 years. However, unless the law is amended, these changes apply only to transactions closed in 2006-2009. The conference will end with a panel of owners who will explain why they decided to protect their properties with conservation agreements. Whether you are a landowner, professional advisor or concerned citizen, this conference will be of great interest to you. Professional development credits are available. Cost: $50 Carolina First Center, Greenville, SC Call: (864) 250-0500x26 upstateforever

Important to know !

- you are entitled to work with you own real estate agent who solely represents your interests
- without having a contract with a real estate agent, your own interests are not represented
- a buyers agent does not receive his commission from the purchaser (with few exceptions)
- we can show you every property that is on the market in Greenville / Spartanburg / Anderson
