Theatre Boarding Camp at Camp Greenville
Event Description:
For the first time ever, South Carolina Children's Theatre (SCCT) is offering a drama boarding camp within its list of summer day camps available. The camp is for rising 7th -12th graders interested in drama. They will join a team of teachers at Camp Greenville from June 8 13 for an exceptional learning experience. Our focus is ensemble development and the individual student's artistic growth. The natural surroundings act as a catalyst for creative growth and the exploration of core drama and principles.
Education Director Betsy Bisson says, 'The camp offers students the unique experience for intensive training and artistic growth as an ensemble of creators who live and learn together 24/7 without daily distractions--much like a retreat.  Having it at Camp Greenville allows us to take inspiration from the beauty of the natural camp setting, and who doesn't want to be in the beautiful outdoors at the beginning of summer?' With one week of intensive training, self-discovery, inner motivation and directed collaboration are the life-affirming objectives. Bisson adds, 'having participated in several of these type camps in NC, I've seen the impact it has on the students (and teachers).  A remarkable time of growth for all.  As SCCT strives to provide challenging training for our older student population, this seemed a perfect match.

Important to know !

Did you know, that in South Carolina :
- the agent who lists a property does represent the sellers interests only
- you are entitled to work with you own real estate agent who solely represents your interests
- without having a contract with a real estate agent, your own interests are not represented
- a buyers agent does not receive his commission from the purchaser (with few exceptions)
- we can show you every property that is on the market in Greenville / Spartanburg / Anderson
